KMR's humble beginnings in 1990 offered technical expertise not only in computers as with the previous incarnation, but also offered repair of video monitors. Back in 1990, life was simpler in the monitor business. VGA resolution of 640x480 was just coming on as the 'new' video standard, replacing CGA/EGA and monochrome monitors that only offered 350x200 max resolution. Seems almost silly by today's 1600x1200 (and beyond) resolutions being the norm!
During the last decade of monitor growth, KMR has kept pace with the changing technology and continues to offer their repair expertise today. They are active support specialists for several internet-based repair groups, and are also solution-providers for private and business users that still require support on non-standard equipment.
In 1998, KMR began offering computer, printer and monitor repair services from their large storefront in Berwyn, just west of Chicago. Finally in 2002, KMR relocated 5 miles west to a more central location in Westchester, IL.
